Elite and pro coaching
For WTCS, T100 and long-course professionals who want to be coached by someone who has done it at the highest level, many times over.
7 Elite World titles · 30+ WTCS wins · 100+ WTCS podiums · 3 Olympic medallists · Ironman and 70.3 winners
I've coached professional triathletes for 30 years, for four national federations and, since 2013, through my own JFTcrew squad. My athletes have won world titles in short-course racing, and races and Kona slots in long-course. The principles don't change with the distance: consistent work, clear priorities, and good decisions when it counts.
Coached by me now: Vasco Vilaça (2026 World Champion), Alberto González, Alissa König, Beatrice Mallozzi and Ben Fäh in the JFTcrew squad, and Elisabetta Curridori (11th at Kona) remotely.
Three ways to work with me
1. The JFTcrew squad, Girona
Daily coaching in a group of world-class athletes, co-run with Drew Box. The squad is for athletes regularly racing in the top 20 at WTCS level, or on a clear path there.
Apply to the squad
2. Remote 1:1 coaching
Your own programme, wherever you're based and wherever you race: WTCS, T100, Ironman or 70.3. I write the plan, review your training and work with your support team around it.

3. Consulting
For athletes, coaches and federations who want a second opinion: a season review, an Olympic or championship build, or one specific problem to solve, such as a performance plateau, a recurring injury pattern or underperforming on race day.

A plan. If it's a fit, we agree how we'll work together and set up your first block.
I read every application myself.
